New Year, New Role For Wayne Sheffield At Rolling Hills

After an extensive worldwide search for a new General Manager/Chief Operating Officer, The Board at Rolling Hills have announced the appointment of Wayne Sheffield, effective February 2026, who brings more than 30 years of experience managing some of the finest clubs in the world. Most recently, he has served as General Manager of Isleworth Golf & Country Club in Orlando, Florida for the past decade.

Isleworth has undergone a significant transformation during this period and is one of the most respected private clubs in the country. His career also includes senior leadership positions supporting the team at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club; 10 years as Chief Executive at The Wisley, worldwide consulting role at IMG, British Ensign Golf, and Crown Golf and The Lambourne Club in the UK.

Commenting on his appointment, Chairman of Rolling Hills, Adam Rioux commented: “Wayne’s extensive experience, thoughtful and empathetic leadership style, and deep familiarity and success in managing high-end membership and club experiences made him the clear choice to lead Rolling Hills into our next exciting chapter. A respected leader in the international private club industry, Wayne brings a forward-looking approach to club leadership, with demonstrated expertise in project and operational management, financial oversight, managing and developing focused teams, and developing a culture of hospitality and enhanced member experiences.
